Tamworth Regional Councillors will vote on the annual operations plan for 2018/19 at their Tuesday meeting with Manilla the big winner in the budget.
Council has planned to pour more than $14 million into the Manilla water treatment plant upgrade in the coming year, after getting a $3.75 million contribution from the NSW government for the project.

Overall, there is more than $47.6 million worth of work on new and improved infrastructure, while a further $30.4 million will be set a aside for renewals.
Ongoing work at the Northern Inland Centre of Sporting Excellence has more than $10 million allocated from the budget.
The next 12 months will see the delivery of the velodrome and criterion circuit, as well as the athletics facility.
The $17.2 million project which attracted funding from the federal and state governments was scheduled “to be substantially completed by December 2018”, however a recent update revealed “a slight extension of time” as council sought a tenderer for the works.
“This represents a change from the original construction schedule, with a slight extension of time to the project to ensure council and the community achieve the best possible outcome and optimise value for money,” a project update said.
There’s a fair chunk of funding dedicated to water projects with $4.1 million dedicated to raw water supply upgrades and a further $2.2 million for rehab work on mains.
Council’s bridge renewal program will get $5.5 million splash in the new financial year.
Council conducted pop-up engagement sessions throughout the region in the lead-up to delivering the plan.
In regards to general issues, water security was the highest priority for residents registered through the feedback.
