POLICE are appealing for information after offenders broke in and stole cash from a business and a house in separate incidents in Tamworth.

A cash register and cash were stolen from a timber business on Gunnedah Road at Westdale after offenders pried open a window to the office.
Police said the offence occurred between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, close to a $1000 worth of gold coins have been stolen from a David Street house.
Thieves removed a flyscreen before throwing a brick through a window to gain entry.
After rummaging through the location, the offenders fled with the coin haul.
Police said the break-and-enter occurred between 2pm on Tuesday and 4am on Wednesday.
