The doctors take care of the medicine, while Captain Starlight takes care of the laughs

We all know spending time in hospital is not much fun, but at least for a short while on Thursday, the young patients in Tamworth hospital children’s ward were able to forget about what ailes them, when not one but two Captain Starlights dropped by for a special visit.

While the doctors and nurses are responsible for the medical side of treatment, the Captain Starlight program is all about putting smiles on the faces of seriously ill children. 

This year Starlight celebrates 30 years of doing just that.
