When people are presented with awards, you’ll inevitable hear the word “humble” thrown in there somewhere, to varying degrees of truth – but Rowan Pollard is the definition of a humble man. He was thrown into a life or death situation, and saved three young lives. The Leader caught up with him in 2017, on the eve of Mr Pollard being presented with an award for his brave actions.
