The Australian Paramedics Association have agreed to terms laid out by Health Minister Brad Hazzard, although the jury is still out for those workers aligned with the Health Services Union.

On Monday Mr Hazzard tabled an offer to pay the $190 national registration fee, if paramedics paid for the $80 WWCC.
While the APA have accepted, putting a halt to the threat of stop work action, members of the Health Services Union are yet to decide.

HSU New England Sub-branch president Dave LUcietto said that members are voting on the issue, with the vote closing on Thursday June 8.
“We have had the official offer, but we have told our members to hold steady until the vote closes,” he said.
“We will know more on Thursday.”
Meanwhile APA secretary Steve Pearce wants to put this issue behind them and said “the NSW Government should now concentrate on increasing paramedic numbers across the state.”
