“The Boomerangs play some good football. It’s going to be a fast and exciting game,” he said.
The comment comes on the back of a 46-24 win against Tingha Tigers last weekend.
“The boys played really well last week, even though we finished the game with only 11 players at the end,” Girard said.

Girard credited Joseph Wade, Brent McDonald and Stan Wan for their standout performances on the weekend.
Although the A-Grade coach was happy with his team as a whole, he said a couple of controversial calls cost the team too many sin bins.
“We will be working on discipline in training. We gave away too many penalties. The team needs to cut out that kind of playing,” he said.
The Boars will head into the round nine clash against the Boomerangs short of a full squad with players such as Holt Cubis and Ashley Jarret to sit out the game.
“This is mid-year football. There will be players who have been injured or have personal commitments to keep,” he said.
He plans to fill the holes in the rank with reserve grade players.
“I’ll make that decision on Thursday night,” Girard said.
