To participate 12 years of age is minimum. Covered footwear is mandatory & ID is required. Under 18 years of age will require parental/guardianship presence. Any unlicensed personnel requires minor paperwork completion to legalise your participation. Qualified instructors and club members will be assisting in support.
The day commences at 10am. From this time until noon this period will be allocated to the ladies sector, whilst hubby babysits and awaits his turn with the remaining interested family members.
The day will finalise at 4.30pm. The firearms will be provided. Unlimited cartridges and the targets will be supplied at minimum cost.
The Club canteen will be operational. Father and son team Col and Clive Barton will be giving a display of skeet shooting during the day.
Clive of course is one of our nation's most talented skeet shooters representing Australia in the Olympic Games.
The Tamworth Clay Target Club is located at Loomberah. Directions are simplified by taking the Loomberah Road near Farrer Agricultural Memorial High School and turning right, continuing until the next Loomberah sign to the right (do not take the dirt road) and continuing for 2km. The Club is on the left side.
