In the early 1990's, a barrister by the name of George Turner went to the Sydney Registry of the High Court of Australia to file actions against 44 members of the Federal Parliament for sitting unconstitutionally in that Parliament, in breach of section 44 of Clause 9 of An Act to Constitute the Commonwealth of Australia 1900 (UK) 63 & 64 Victoria Ch 12.
