The Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew dropped by for a flying visit, landing the chopper on the school’s oval.
The school was selected to host a landing from more than 4,600 primary schools across Australia, to learn about the importance of safety, and local emergency services, from the WRHS crew.

The landings are rewarded to schools who have been actively engaged in the WLRHS Schools Program, which reaches 1.84 million students each year.
The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service has been serving the Australian community since 1973 and has completed over 80,000 missions across the country, with no one ever having to pay to be rescued.
The landing on Tuesday also co-incided with National Volunteer Week.
The Westpac rescue Helicopter Services relies heavily on its volunteers and community support to stay in the air.
