At Rex Hardaker Oval, Sawtell on Saturday, the Mick Schmiedel-coached side lost 30-2.
Greater Northern regional manager Scott Bone said Central Coast “was just too quick”.
“They have a really good side and will take some beating next week,” Bone said.
“Our girls played well though, defended very well. It was only 6-2 at half time but we were under pressure throughout.”
Schmiedel backed up those comments.
“They defended so well. We actually led 2-0 after 15 minutes but Central Coast are a good side, well coached and quick. They did score a couple of late tries to blow the score out.”
While all his side tried hard he didn’t want to single any players out.
Bronte Harris won the GN Tigers players player award while Aimee Diebold, Sofie Casson and Jess Baker were impressive.
Central Coast 30 (Ashlee Russell 2, Holly Buchanan, Sian George, Shannon Higgins, Joceyln Kelleher tries, Buchanan 3 goals) d Greater Northern 2 (Amy Barraclough goal).
