Inverell brothers Liam and Rhys Hoynes, both aged 24, are believed to be hiding in Queensland.
The twins are wanted on drug-related charges each as a result of investigations by Strike Force Clune – a secret police operation by New England detectives and the state’s drugs and firearm squad.
”Police from Strike Force Clune applied for and were granted warrants for the arrest of two men for the offences of manufacture a prohibited drug,” New England Superintendent Scott Tanner told Fairfax Media.
“We know there are people in our community who know where these men are and we implore them to assist police.
“It is an offence to harbour wanted persons from authorities and police will do everything in their power to track these men.”

On Monday afternoon, police released photos of the twins in a public appeal to help trace the whereabouts of the pair.
Strike Force Clune saw raids on properties in Inverell and Tingha in April where two large-scale clandestine drug labs were uncovered.
Police allege the labs were used to manufacture the drug ice and MDMA.
More than 400 items including drug precursors, glasswear and documents have been seized as part of the police probe.
“We are following a number of inquiries as to the whereabouts of these men and we would urge them to make contact with police,” Superintendent Tanner said.
“If anyone in the community has information, we urge them to contact us and that can be supplied anonymously.
“Drugs cause significant harm to local communities and this extensive investigation will continue until those people are put before the courts.”
The brothers are described as Caucasian in appearance with a medium build, brown hair and blue eyes.
Officers are urging the public not to approach the pair but instead contact local police immediately.
