Fleming has been picked in the women’s Aboriginal XI squad for a commemorative tour of England to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 1868 Aboriginal team that toured the UK.
The women’s side will play four matches and will tour alongside the men’s team.
Being selected was another “proud” moment in Fleming’s short cricket career which has seen the teenager represent a range of representative sides over the years including NSW at the National Indigenous Cricket Championship earlier this year.
“I’m proud to be able to represent my culture. I love representing it any chance I get,” Fleming told Fairfax Media last week.
Fleming was most looking forward to soaking up any information about the 1868 touring side.
“Just learning the history of what they did when they toured and being the first [Indigenous] women’s team to go over there will be exciting,” Fleming said.

The women’s team will be led by Australian player Ash Gardner.
Fleming has played alongside Gardner before and said it was always a thrill to be named in sides with top-class cricketers.
“I’m always excited to learn new things off them,” she said.
The men’s team – which will play five games on the tour – will be captained by Dan Christian.
Fleming, and the women’s side, have matches scheduled against Surrey, Sussex, National Cricket Conference and the ECB Academy.
