There was the 2018 Tamworth Taste Festival Long Lunch which saw about 140 hungry locals converge on Tamworth’s Anzac Park for a three course meal of delicious delights.
The event marked the end of a fantastic ten days of food festivities including the Flavours on Fitzroy event and who can forget Taste in the Park last Sunday.
Over in Gunnedah, there was a celebration as the Gunnedah Show got into full swing for its 130th year.
Show goers travelled from right across the region to get a piece of the action with rides, agriculture, art and craft among the most popular items on the menu.
Thankfully the show got off to a great start before heavy rain and hail lashed the region on Saturday night.
