‘Our New England Table’ celebrates the New England region’s local produce.
The cookbook, which introduces producers from across the region and features a great selection of recipes contributed by New England families and foodies, is set to go on sale at Seasons of New England in Uralla on March 24.
“We have produced a premium, professionally designed and printed cookbook showcasing the New England, with a particular focus on local produce, cafes, wineries and restaurants,” said Sue Gooley, Armidale City Public School Parents and Citizens Association.
“The cookbook has received great support. Producers, and many local food and wine outlets, have come on board to sponsor ‘Our New England Table’ – and add their special recipes to those contributed by the school community!”
All proceeds from sales of the book will be used to support education programs and opportunities for the students of Armidale City Public School.
A priority will be the creation of a covered outdoor learning area for K-2 children.
‘Our New England Table’ incorporates a map showing locations of local producers and eateries, as well as beautiful images showcasing the region and its produce.
“Both residents and visitors will enjoy this cookbook,” Mrs Gooley said.

‘Our New England Table’ retails for $30 and, following its debut at Seasons of New England, will be available for sale online and at multiple locations across the region – including Armidale City Public School, markets, local bookshops, food retailers and tourist outlets.
“Watch out for our stall at New England market days and at the Armidale City Public School Mother’s Day fete,” said Mrs Gooley.
“Meanwhile, Seasons of New England is the perfect place to introduce this cookbook. Many of its sponsors will be featured at the event and we are excited to be there with them!”
