Yes, of course it is disappointing, but no one cares for sulking.
So we are back into it for the Electorate and opened new mobile phone towers at Baldersleigh and Balala this week.
With David Littleproud still in Cabinet he will keep his promise to me, to push harder for the quick relocation of government jobs to Armidale with the move of the APVMA (Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority).
I have had a phone hook up with Tamworth Regional Council Mayor, Col Murray, to advance the growth of the flight training precinct at the airport and have been managing with my staff the myriad of requests coming into the office.
At least now I can reorganise my diary so I can get around the Electorate more and that is something I am very much looking forward to.
For all the so-called allegations that were thrown at me, not one stood up.

The show season has started in earnest and this should give a better chance to catch up with as many New England constituents as possible.

On the federal front, it was good in the reshuffle that Matt Canavan and David Littleproud kept their jobs in Cabinet. They are young, smart and a great future for the Party.
Bridget McKenzie, as the deputy leader, is coming ahead in leaps and bounds.
She is very capable and a good look for The Nationals.
Nigel Scullion stays in one of, if not, the most challenging portfolios of Indigenous Affairs and Michael McCormack, as The Nationals leader, will have a steep learning curve but has a good team to support him. Mark Coulton gets an Assistant Ministerial role and this is a fair return for the hard work he has put in over many years.
So it is back to work, jump in the car and get around and find out what you need me to fight for, for you.
While I am at it, I can actually get to more of those trails in New England’s incredibly beautiful National Parks.
