There was plenty of pink on the Bundarra Golf Club greens late last year, when the organisation held a three-person ambrose day to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The club handed over a cheque worth $2,200 to Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group president Jan O’Neill on Friday, February 2.
“These folk are simply the best and need to be recognised,” O’Neill said.
She said she was grateful for the club’s generosity, as well as their friendship.
“They have done this before, which is amazing,” she said.
The event was held on Sunday, October 29 last year and 38 players turned out to take part in the day.
Players from all over came with Bundarra, Tingha, Uralla, Armidale and Tamworth amongst those represented.
An auction was also held on the day.
There was items donated from businesses from Bundarra, Inverell and Armidale while a weekend away in Port Macquarie was also up for grabs.
