A WOMAN has been hospitalised after her car rolled in Tamworth on Wednesday morning.
The 47-year-old was behind the wheel of a Nissan Dualis shortly after 8am when it failed to negotiate a sweeping bend on Daruka Road, police said.
The Dualis left the roadway, about 7km out of town, and crashed down a steep embankment.
It was a difficult rescue operation to get to the woman, after the car landed in a gully, several metres from the roadway.
The 47-year-old was treated for injuries to her shoulder, neck and abdomen, a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said
She was taken to Tamworth hospital via ambulance in a stable condition.
The car had to be towed from the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
