Police allege the 31-year-old man was unlicensed when he left a Westdale home on a motorcycle after an incident at the house on Monday afternoon.
About 3.30pm, officers allegedly saw the man riding on the wrong side of the road with no helmet or shirt on.
Police stopped the man and breath tested him on the side of the road, where he allegedly returned a positive reading.
He was then taken to Tamworth police station, where a breath analysis allegedly returned a mid-range reading of .101.
Police said the man was charged with ten offences with the most serious including reckless driving and driving unlicensed.
He was refused bail by police overnight.
At an appearance at Tamworth Local Court on Tuesday, the man was refused bail with the matter adjourned to reappear in court on Monday, January 8.
