I have travelled to new and different parts of Australia in my beautiful Toyota RAV4, I’ve sung in front of many new faces at small events in rural areas and at the major country music festivals.

I’ve had the opportunity to record and release music with a team that I know believes in me and I’ve been lucky enough to support Melinda Schneider and some incredible TSM artists such as Lee Kernaghan and The McClymonts. The list of positives could go on but I will say that this year has been packed full of goodness and great experiences.
For my last diary entry, I wanted to keep it sentimental and thank those who have helped me. I’m going to look back at Capital News one day and be so grateful that my year was documented.
I want to say a huge thank you to Cheryl Byrnes for all the love and support you’ve shown me this year. You have such a big job and I really appreciate all the time you’ve spent working with me.
To Tom Inglis from HSF Artists for all your guidance, Barry Harley and everyone at Tamworth Regional Council, the Gemba Group, and all the festival organisers who gave me a chance this year – Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Muster, Central Coast Country Music Festival, and Mildura Country Music Festival.
Thanks to Chris Watson at Chris Watson Travel for sending me off to Nashville, and to the CMA for the CMAFest experience, I’m completely inspired by that trip and will forever remember it.
Thanks to Maton and Fender for my acoustic and electric guitars, the Toyota Star Maker family for welcoming me with open arms, and finally – Toyota, thank you for all the encouragement and support this year.
Everyone I have worked with at events, and talked to over emails has been lovely. I couldn’t have hoped for a better ride. *pun intended. THANK YOU!!
I’m sure there are people I’ve forgotten to name but I am so thankful for this whole year, so everyone’s efforts have most definitely been appreciated and always will be. My last month was a busy one, it was my birthday month, and my sister’s birthday month so I did take some time out to spoil myself with friends and family.
Fun fact actually – we are 11 and a half months apart so for 16 days of the year we are the same age... So crazy, but so awesome!
When I wasn’t enjoying some time off, I was on the road headed to gigs. I was fortunate to perform a few shows as the winner thanks to Toyota ambassador Lee Kernaghan.
I did another event for Toyota in the Blue Mountains, and I also performed at a fundraiser for domestic violence in Sydney. New music is still on its way so look and listen out for it as I’ll still be making some noise.
