Brooke, Sam and Mollie have had a busy 2017, touring and performing sell out shows to promote their latest album Endless, with new family members and career opportunities in the mix.
Country’s favourite girls will perform at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre on Wednesday, January 24, from 7.30pm.
Mollie said the sisters were looking forward to returning to the country music capital.
“Tamworth is always a big show to kick off the year for us, and we’re pumped and very excited,” she told The Leader.
“We’ve been coming to Tamworth for about 25 years, we started out doing busking then moved on to singing in talent quests and singing at other people’s shows in small venues, to pubs and now the biggest venue in Tamworth.”
She described the past year as being “exciting and busy” from juggling life as working mums to performing around the nation to sell-out crowds - but together as sisters they made it work.
Growing up listening to older country music with their dad and modern country pop music with their mother - Mollie said the girls grew up with the same country influences and it helped them to grow their own unique sound.
Their harmonies are among the most popular in country music today and have seen the girls nominated for six golden guitars for their album Endless at this weekend’s awards.
“I can’t believe it,” Mollie said, “It’s our biggest nomination to date and it’s going to be a huge festival for us.
“This is hands down my favourite album, it is definitely the most personable in relation to what was going on in our lives.”
Mollie said fans at their TRECC show can experience some new music they haven’t performed before, along with a special guest and the winner of the 2018 Toyota Star Maker.
“It’ll be our usual high energy, fun, intimate let's get Tamworth started kind of show,” she said.
