Tamworth-based artist Joanne Stead continues to make an impression in artistic circles.
She recently completed a mural on the iconic Bondi sea wall.
“The design is called Losing My Spots for you and is an unrequited love story between the seagull and the origami bird,” Ms Stead said.
The work will remain on the Bondi sea wall until April 2018 when the murals will be rotated again, but it will have a longer term home on the Bondi Beach website.
The Sydney-born artist and poet has also just finished a solo exhibition in Sydney.
Unmeasured Moment centres around the themes of mindfulness, appreciation and gratitude.
“Most importantly it’s about making sure we don’t forget about that little light inside of us that makes a glow unlike anyone else’s glow.”
