Both sides won their first two matches, with Armidale player Kate McCulloch expecting the Boomerangs to be the Rams’ toughest opponents to date.
She said: “It will be a challenge. They’ve got a lot of skilful players and experience.

“They’ve got a lot of players who run hard. And if we can be solid in defence, then our attack – we’ve got a bit of creativity in attack – should result in us being able to score tries.

The Rams second match on Saturday is against Warialda, whom they defeated 16-4 on November 11.
Chokita Brown bagged a hat-trick in that clash.
McCulloch said the Rams were still gelling, as it was a new-look side compared to the outfit that played in the inaugural Group 19 women’s nines at the start of the year.
“We’re really pleased with the results in the first round,” she added.
