Chelsea Thornton, Lily Neilson, Jake McCann and Nathan Czinner will line up for the under 15 NSW team at the Australian Indoor Hockey Championships in Goulburn next January.
That wasn’t the only accolade for the quartet who were also named in the outdoor under 15 NSW squads for the Australian National Championships to be held in Wollongong next April.
Joining the four in NSW will be Jake’s younger brother Tyler who will line up in the under 13s team at the indoor event with Fletcher Schultz named as a shadow.
For Tyler it only adds to his busy schedule in the sport.
The youngster has just returned from the under 13 National Championships which were played in Perth.
Tyler was the only Hockey New England representative at the carnival and captained the NSW team.
To say he played well over in Western Australia would be an understatement.
The leader was named player of the match five times by opposition players.
