To celebrate spring, four Guyra gardens will be opening their gates to the public for the Guyra Open Gardens weekend, November 11 and 12 – and it’s all for a good cause.
“St Mary of the Angels School are putting the weekend on to raise money for the school and the new Kolora Aged Care facility which is just about to open,” coorganiser Bronwyn Grills said.
The gardens are provided by members of the Guyra Garden Club and include 70 Starr Rd, 196 Tom’s Gully Rd, 344 Falconer Rd and corner of Manse and Urandangie St, Guyra.
Weekend garden passes are $20 and gardens are open between 10:00am and 4:00pm with light refreshments and lunch available.
Children under 18 are free.
There will also be plant stalls open and sheep manure available for purchase.
