The tracks at Tamworth Mountain Bike Park are in great condition and the day will certainly have something for everyone.
From a shorter, groomed and flowy loop for beginners to a Smash the Mountain course for seasoned riders.
This event is designed around having fun and is a great way to get out and explore one of Tamworth's best kept secrets.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter will have a barbecue in operation to feed the riders and supporters as the riders take on their own unique challenge. The facilities not only cater for the riders but the whole family with the playground and kids track, toilets and great shaded areas to take in some of the skills the riders have to offer.
The Two Wheel Academy – a team of young riders made up of development and race riders who encourage juniors to get involved – will also be riding.
With members of the Armidale-based Academy racing all over Australia regularly, and also internationally, there will be some competitive riding on show for spectators.
The Two Wheel Academy athletes will be training on the track on Saturday and have invited the Tamworth Mountain Bike Club NIAS coaches to participate in this training day to invest in the local coaching program.
