Expected to feature The Living End and Spiderbait, the concert was supposed to take place at Peterson’s Winery next year.
Concert promoter Michael Newton said he thought the younger lineup would be welcomed in Armidale.
“Unfortunately it hasn’t sparked the interest we were expecting or hoping to see which is disappointing for us all,” Mr Newton said.
“We are however committed to Petersons, which is a fantastic venue and we look forward to presenting more concerts in the future.”
All tickets purchased will be refunded in full.
Customers who purchased tickets from Ticketmaster with a credit card will automatically receive a full refund and those who purchased with cash at a Ticketmaster outlet can receive a full refund from the point of purchase.
