The final was hosted by the Tamworth Motorcycle Club at the Oakburn Park Speedway with about 65 sidecars on show.
Pitt came into the final equal with young Tyler Moon following the opening two rounds at Brisbane and Wagga Wagga.
Early on in the final, Moon took the upper hand before disaster struck.
“Tyler led the final but he spun out and Brad came through to first place,” Tamworth Motorcycle Club president Paul Slade said.
While Pitt and McFadden took out the series win, Darrin Treloar and Blake Cox sped home to claim the race victory on the night.
There’s no stopping for the Tamworth club now with a big six months ahead.
“It’s the start of a big season,” Slade said. “We’ve got two Australian championships here, one in December and one in April next year.”
