Auskick comes to close for year

Auskick is over for another year but the season finished with a bang.

The final session had all the ingredients for a great day on a clear, mild afternoon.

There was a big showing of Auskickers, the parents were run ragged with special guests turning out and free snags for everyone.

Patrick and Sue O’Halloran came along to the last game/presentation night to present the Joseph O’Halloran Memorial Award and regional agribusiness manager at NAB Warrick Grieve presented the NAB rising star award.

Henry George won the Joseph O’Halloran Memorial Award, Rory Cuddihy was named the rising star while the juniors award went to Chayton Lynch-Whitton.

The highlight for the year was the annual trip to Sydney in July where the players had the chance play on the SCG at half-time during a Sydney Swans game.
