Wee Waa forfeited to North Tamworth while Gunnedah beat South West 94-0 at home.
The Robins only fielded 10 players and the match was abandoned early in the second half.
In the other match, Narrabri beat Collegian 56-14.
If Collegian get the points against Wee Waa next round, they will finish in fourth place and play the third-placed team in the knockout semi-final.
Norths will secure the minor premiership with a win over South West at Jack Woolaston Oval on Saturday, with the match taking on extra significance as a Bears Old Boys day.
Gunnedah’s home clash against Narrabri on Sunday is expected to decide who finishes second.
In Second Division, there is also one round to go.
Kootingal-Moonbi and Barraba will finish first and second. Bendemeer is in third place two points ahead of fourth-placed Manilla and fifth-placed Bundarra and four points ahead of sixth-placed Boggabri.
