23-year-old charged with mid-range PCA, fail to stop after crash in Kent St, Tamworth

A MAN has been charged with drink driving and failing to stop after a crash in South Tamworth.

About 2.20am on Monday, the Mitsubishi Magna hit a parked vehicle on Kent St, causing it to crash into another vehicle.

Police said the driver continued along Kent St and went to an address in Hillvue.

Officers traced the vehicle to the home where a 23-year-old man was arrested.

He has been charged with mid-range PCA and failing to stop and had his licence suspended on the spot.

He has been ordered to front court at a later date.

Police said one of the vehicles sustained significant damage.
