A MAN was flown to Tamworth hospital after he sustained an injury at a wind farm on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the White Rock Wind Farm, south of Glen Innes about 1pm following reports a person was injured.
A 43-year-old man was treated for a compound fracture to his ankle and was later flown to Tamworth by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and reported to be in a stable condition.
SafeWork NSW is investigating the cause of the injury.
