Locals are calling for a more wide-ranging works at the popular vantage point, letting their fingers do the talking on social media.
The Leader asked its Facebook followers how they would upgrade the site, which led to a number of calls to “fix up the road” up to the lookout.
An online poll by The Leader found about 42 per cent of respondents were in favour of “formalising the jacaranda avenue”, which was suggested by council.
Tamworth Regional Council put the call out for community guidance on the lookout project taking online surveys and polling visitors to the site on a couple of occasions.
The community will get an overview of council’s official lookout feedback sometime next month.
