Spare change wanted in bucket parade at Peel Street Markets

CALALA Rotary is doing its best to help fire-affected residents by doing a bucket parade at the Peel Street Markets this Sunday.

Members will be out in force as they ask market-goers to throw small change into the buckets, which will go directly towards those hit by the Sir Ivan fire earlier this week.

“People are more than happy to throw $2 into a bucket,” Rotarian John Robinson said. “We’ll forward it to Rotarians in towns affected by the fire.”
