A prime mover has been abandoned near Tamworth after it was stolen from a trucking yard in the early hours of Saturday and taken for a joyride.
Police said the Kenworth prime mover was taken about 4.30am from a Wallamore Rd trucking yard.
It was later found dumped on Gidley-Siding Rd on Saturday morning.
Police said the cabin will be combed for forensic clues to try and identify who is responsible.
Investigations continue.
