The theme for this year is‘Achieving 17 Goals for the Future We Want’ which aims to promote a more inclusive and equitable world for people with disability.
To coincide with International Day of People with Disability celebrations, Sunnyfield is launching it’s ‘Sharing Everyday Spaces’ campaign across NSW and the Australian Capital Territory. The campaign features four Sunnyfield clients who share stories about their local communities.
From local cafes to parks, public transport to shopping centres, the campaign acknowledges that the spaces are for everyone to access and enjoy.
“People with disability have the right to access all the wonderful spaces available in their communities,” said Sunnyfield chief executive officer Caroline Cuddihy.
“This year’s campaign aims to promote inclusion and raise awareness about ensuring spaces are accessible for people with disability. It recognises just a few of the local spaces Sunnyfield clients enjoy each day with a focus on bringing people together to share in their journey,”
