Jodie Crosby will release her self titled solo album next year, following a busy Tamworth Country Music Festival of concerts ahead, both solo and with her sister Kelly.
While it might have been awhile since she’s been in the studio, it’s no secret that she’s ‘still got it’ and was one of the industry’s top acts in the 1990s and 2000s with chart topping hits and a Golden Guitar under her belt.
During that time The Crosby Sisters released recordings with iconic artists including Russell Morris and toured with the likes of Slim Dusty and were support acts for Dr Hook, John Williamson, Charley Pride among others.
Crosby began recording her solo album with Rusty Crook – guitarist and sound engineer for The Sunny Cowgirls and a respected producer in the industry.
She’s been co-writing with rising star Allison Forbes, sister Kelly, Phil Hungerford ,Jon Wolfe and Russell Bellette.
To make it even more special, one song was written by her son Ethan Crosby Wolfe, which is destined to be the first single of the album.
Crosby’s album is available for pre-order from her Facebook page – Jodie Crosby Music.
