Stan and Grayem White came first, sailing a Corsair dinghy while John Sumner came second and Rodger Ford third.
On the same day, Lake Keepit Family Fishing Club hosted the Gone Fishing Day in conjunction with the Pub Fishing Club from Tamworth.
The day was a huge success, with well over 280 registrations for the day and many children learning the art of fishing for the first time.
Activities included casting competitions, yabby races, yabby fishing in the pool, face painting and many more.
The club’s annual general meeting was also held last Saturday, with all executive members returned unopposed.
Membership for 2017 is now due, with costs remaining at $20 per family or $10 per adult. Secretary Tania Perret can be reached for application forms on dper1996@bigpond.net.au
