Husband and wife Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont are gearing up to perform at Sunday Sessions in the Park, at the Tamworth Regional Playground on Sunday.
Starting at 3pm, the Adam Eckersley Band will bring their southern influence to the city, along with country music favourite Brooke McClymont,
Tamworth’s own Sally Anne Whitten will also take to the stage.
The family friendly event was made possible with the support of local businesses, with residents encouraged to grab a chair or rug and head on down to the playground for an afternoon of entertainment.
“It’s a great way for local businesses to give back to the community and once again we have been really pleased with the strong level of support this event has received from local businesses,” Hopscotch Restaurant and Bar owner Jay Lynch said.
Eckersley told The Leader he was excited to return to the city and perform.
“We love Tamworth, and we get back there any time we get a chance,” he said.
“We’ve just come back from Europe where we played roughly 22 shows in 34 days, so we’ve come back feeling pretty tight as a band and are trying new things. We just love any time we get to play, but it’ll be good to get out there with Brooke, we enjoy playing music together whenever we get a chance.” He urged locals to come along and join in on the fun.
