Colette by Colette Hayman features jewellery and handbags and will open on August 4 in Peel St, just outside the entrance to Tamworth Square.
The shop will employ about five staff, including a manager, is one of almost 40 stores around the state, with about a quarter of those in regional areas.
Colette has been in existence since 2010 and in that short time has expanded to 125 shops in Australia and New Zealand and 14 overseas, with plans to open another 20 internationally this year.
Its founder says the philosophy is simple: trendy, yet affordable, accessories.
"The essence of Colette is making current trends accessible to everyone while still providing an exciting shopping experience," Ms Hayman told The Leader.
"We also ensure the customer receives the same Colette experience whether it be in the heart of Sydney or the heart of Tamworth."
Ms Hayman said she'd always been passionate about fashion, loving the way it "transforms my mood when I feel good in an outfit".
"My inspiration comes from everything: from designer and emerging trends, what's happening on the streets, blogs, technology or art," she said.
A trip to Tamworth is in her plans, too, when her schedule allows.
"I will be visiting when I do my annual Christmas travels around the country to visit stores and meet our teams," Ms Hayman said.
