Police will allege a 49-year-old man filmed a 15-year-old child in a shower earlier this year, sparking an investigation.
Moree detectives are remaining tight-lipped about the details surrounding the alleged incident, but confirmed the man was arrested on Monday.
As part of the investigation, police seized a number of computer and electronic storage devices that allegedly contained footage of young children.
The man was taken to Moree Police Station and charged with two counts of produce child abuse material and one count of film person engaged in a private act in the circumstances of aggravation.
He was granted bail and has been ordered to appear in a Moree court in June.
