Driver hospitalised after truck rollover

A TRUCK driver has been taken to hospital after rolling his vehicle near Uralla.

Just after 8am, the truck was travelling along the New England Highway near Thunderbolts Rock when it left the road and rolled. The driver was treated by ambulance paramedics for minor head injuries before he was transported to Armidale hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

Fire and Rescue NSW worked to clean up a diesel spill leaking from the truck, which sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.
