The 40-metre tall crane, with an 86-metre long boom, has been on site at the Tamworth hospital since October last year and was dismantled at the weekend.
Due to the size of the crane, a smaller crane was called in to dismantle it.
Construction of the first section of the hospital’s redevelopment is complete, so the crane is no longer needed in Tamworth.
