Armidale’s Belgrave Cinema will be alive with footy fans next Wednesday , there to see if the Blues can continue their winning streak and make it three in a row or watch Queensland Maroons try to redeem themselves.
Ben Bible, Coordinator of Development and Marketing, UNE Life, said the last two screenings of the State of Origin had been enormously popular at the Belgrave.
“Community support has been overwhelming, so much so that game two was a sellout, two days prior.
“It’s been nine years since the Blues have won the series, and to walk away with a hat-trick will make it all the more sweeter.
“Origin at the Belgrave is a very family-friendly affair, with father and sons, mothers and daughters and mates and rivals meeting up to enjoy watching the game together on the big screen.
“If you duck out of the cinema for refreshments you won’t miss the action as there are two large screens in the foyer area.”
Tickets are $10 and are fully redeemable at the cinema kiosk for hot food or confectionary and alcohol is available for purchase on the night.
Tickets are available from Campus Essentials, SportUNE or at the Belgrave Cinema. For more information call 6772 2856.
