ANYONE driving past South Tamworth Public School yesterday could be forgiven for thinking the school had been taken over by the Village People. With students dressed in mufti mode, the idea was to raise money for the Salvation Army and all kinds of crazy costumes were evident.

There were policemen and policewomen, cowboys and cowgirls, clowns, artists, doctors, nurses and crazy scientists among the school population.
