The aircraft, from No 1 Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley, will perform the pass over at speeds between 650 and 750km/h and maintain a height above 150 metres.
Flight Lieutenant Cath Friend said the event would mark the 20th anniversary of an F-111 crash at Guyra, which resulted in the deaths of Flight Lieutenants Jeremy McNess and Mark Cairns-Cowan. Number 1 Squadron will recognise and honour the sacrifice made by these dedicated aircrew.
No 1 Squadron will also hold two commemoration services on Sunday. The first will be a public service at the memorial at Guyra Shire Council. Later in the day a private service will be conducted at the Guyra F-111 crash site memorial.
