There has already been a state supervised Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Plan in place and this week’s protest shows that the past communication and meetings have not been acceptable. Indigenous artefacts, collection and storage of same are in question.
The head of the Red Chief Land Council said “The whole community has been let down.” How true.
