The workshops will be run by the Livestock Health and Pest Authority (LHPA) and will involve teaching ratepayers about their equity with the Local Land Services, effective in 2014.
It will also give ratepayers a chance to voice their opinions and thoughts on how the Local Land Services will be run.
State Policy Council (SPC) chairman Lawrie Donoghue said LHPA ratepayers may be unaware of the proposals for the Local Land Services organisation.
Under the new service, the LHPA, Catchment Management Authorities and extension services of the Department of Primary Industries will join together.
“ We urge all ratepayers to make it their business to get involved and have their opinions heard,” Mr Donoghue said.
A workshop will be held at Gunnedah on February 27 and Moree on February 26.
