A MAN will appear in court today following is arrest over child sex offences in Tamworth yesterday afternoon.The 46-year-old was arrested at a Tamworth house after detectives from the Bathurst Child Abuse Squad searched his house.

He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and subsequently charged with 13 counts of sexual intercourse with a child under ten and three counts of aggravated indecent assault against the same child.
Police allege the incidents happened in the blue mountains between January 2003 and February 2008.
It will be further alleged that at the time of the first incident, the female victim was five years old.
Officers said they seized mobile phones and computer equipment for forensic examination during the search.
The man was refused bail to appear in Tamworth Local Court today.
