Added to this, the ADC lights and decorations thus far are a prelude to the Christmas festivities – Twilight planned for December 14-16 in the Armidale mall. Buskers are encouraged to play in the mall over the two weeks leading up to Christmas.
ADC and the committee will host the weekend’s activities, which will be launched by the mayor on the evening of Friday, December 14 with food and entertainment, and on Saturday, added to music and dancing throughout the day, there will be a talent quest (10.30am), craft for children to make decorations and a visit from Santa! Children are encouraged to dress up as elves or in other Christmas characters to add to the fun and enjoyment of this special time of the year.
The shopping centre will be buzzing with activity that weekend and people can enjoy our lovely mall, appreciate the amazing local talent, visit the shops with so many products unique to Armidale, and browse at the Double Market Day on Sunday.
Please contact the committee’s administrator Anita Kazis on 6770 3870 or email akazis@armidale.nsw.gov.au if you would like to know more about it.
