Mr Windsor faces a possible voter backlash in his seat of New England for backing Labor into minority government following the 2010 election.
"I'm here for this Parliament and I intend to stand for the next one," he told ABC Radio yesterday.
Mr Windsor will be opposed by Richard Torbay, the state MP for Northern Tablelands, who will contest New England for The Nationals.
The federal MP predicted one of the major parties would win an outright majority in the next Parliament.
"I don't care who wins the next election," he said.
Mr Windsor dismissed a poll suggesting his chances of re-election had been damaged by support for the Gillard government.
"That was done by the Dodgy Brothers," he said.
